A Century of Strategy

Bridge is more than a game; it is a mental discipline that keeps the mind sharp at any age.

Playing Cards

The Game of Kings (and Mathematicians)

Bridge is a trick-taking card game using a standard 52-card deck. It is played by four players in two competing partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other around a table.

Millions of people play bridge worldwide in clubs, tournaments, online and with friends at home, making it one of the world's most popular card games. Unlike many other card games, bridge is a game of skill, not luck.

It consists of two main parts: the Bidding (or Auction) and the Play. In the bidding, players compete to name the "contract" — the number of tricks they think they can take. In the play, one side tries to fulfil that contract while the other side tries to stop them.

Language Without Words

Your bids are a secret code shared with your partner. Master the system to dominate the table.

People Playing

Why Should You Learn Bridge?

Mental Fitness: Studies suggest that bridge can help keep the brain young and may even boost the immune system by stimulating the area of the brain responsible for the thymus gland.

Social Connection: Bridge is the ultimate social game. Whether you play at a local club or a high-stakes tournament, you will meet people from all walks of life who share your passion for the game.

Infinite Complexity: No two hands of bridge are ever the same. You can play every day for 50 years and still find new situations that challenge your logic and deduction.
